Palio del cerro 2023 | 2 September
The highly anticipated event in the historic village of Cerreto Guidi is back. The Palio Cerretese, will engage the four city Contrade of Porta Caracosta, Porta Fiorentina, Porta Al Palagio and Santa Maria al Pozzolo, in a unique competition rich in the history and culture of this medieval village.
The main events will be held on Sept. 2 with the customary Palio del Cerro at 10 p.m. and on Sept. 9 with the Palio dei Ragazzi, but the program will extend with many other activities throughout September with festivities, fairs, processions concerts, performances and historical processions at the foot of the beautiful Villa Medicea.
Tickets will be available and can be purchased from the Pro Loco of Cerreto Guidi.
